Position Overview

The CT Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position requires proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT Certification in CT
  • State of Florida General Radiographer License
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans as per departmental protocols.
  • Utilize GE Revolution Evo and Beijing Optima equipment effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech system.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
Work Environment

This role is situated within a busy healthcare facility, which includes:

  • 350 beds available for patient care.
  • A dedicated team of 9 staff members in the imaging department.
  • Day, evening, and night shifts available.
Typical Procedures

The CT Imaging Specialist will conduct a variety of procedures, including:

  • CT Angiography (CTA)
  • Abdominal and Pelvic scans
  • Brain imaging
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
  • Chest scans
Dress Code

Employees are expected to adhere to a professional dress code, specifically wearing black scrubs.

Additional Requirements
  • Current BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
