Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Weekend Coverage

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical support to our clients in our residential programs on weekends.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for administering medication, dispensing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and performing various medical tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a behavioral health care setting and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication and dispense MAT as prescribed
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and handle sick calls
  • Transcribe medication and maintain accurate medical records
  • Assist with client medical appointments and follow up with clients as needed
  • Collaborate with the RN Nurse Manager to coordinate client medical needs and treatment plans
  • Perform Covid-19 screenings and provide nursing care to clients in quarantine
  • Maintain standard precautions and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • Minimum one year of experience in a behavioral health care setting
  • Updated Criminal Record, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Basic understanding of medical and psychosocial causes relevant to chemical dependent persons
Working Conditions:

The LPN will work every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 12:30pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care to our clients.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25 per hour.
