Behavioral Health Aide

At Luzerne IU, we are seeking an experienced Youth Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. This part-time position will provide individualized interventions to clients as outlined in the treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to crisis situations and complete significant incident reports when needed.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, core meetings, CASSP meetings, etc. when requested.
• Transfer therapeutic skills to educational staff and family.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
• Complete COS's with families.
• Attend supervisions and complete clinical notes.

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Experience providing behavioral health services to youth.
• Pennsylvania State Police Clearance.
• Child Abuse Clearance.
• FBI Fingerprinting.
• School Health Form: Physical and Tuberculosis Test.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification.
