About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Kailua, HI. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account patient needs and medical history
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to imaging procedures, reporting any concerns or issues to healthcare professionals
- Administer medications as ordered, with appropriate documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare professionals
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse personnel
