Job Description:
CorVel Healthcare Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Provider Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for verifying provider information and requesting documentation to audit claims. Your primary duties will include verifying patient information, provider contact details, and client information for accuracy to ensure proper delivery of requests.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with leadership on any issues or problems identified.
  • Maintain punctual and consistent attendance.
  • Meet production standards, requirements, and quality of work.
  • Assist coworkers, supervisors, or management to accomplish product goals and report any potential issues proactively.
  • Forward misdirected requests to the correct individual or department to respond to any requests timely.
  • Outbound calling may be required for specific roles.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of all medical records, PHI, and PII.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and use critical thinking.
  • Outbound call experience.
  • Organized and ability to multitask.
  • MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Windows operating system and Internet.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver results in a timely manner.

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office experience.

Pay Range:

CorVel Healthcare Corporation uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

New hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during the interview process, taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $12.77 - $19.35 per hour
