About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Beachside Family Dental Care. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care and education to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other team members to ensure seamless care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
