Hobart Service, a leading provider of commercial food equipment service solutions, seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Overview

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled technician to work with various types of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining this equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with commercial food equipment
  • Maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including cooking, food preparation, and ware washing systems
  • Work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision
  • Meet or exceed weekly productivity goals while providing exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • An accredited high school diploma or equivalent, and 4-6 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance or repair
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive multiple hours daily
  • The ability to work overtime and on-call as required
  • The ability to attend industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and move extensively throughout the day. You will also need to operate motor vehicles and heavy equipment, and may be exposed to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet, and dirty conditions.
