Position Overview:
Our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a QC Analyst II to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the success of operations by delivering precise, GxP-compliant evaluations of clinical biopharmaceutical products and participating in assay qualification and validation processes.
- Contribute to the management of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, where each run can exceed $1 million, ensuring that release and stability testing is conducted accurately and without compliance issues.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory systems, provide training to fellow analysts, uphold SOPs and documentation, and foster an organized and efficient laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical sciences or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a cGMP Quality Control, analytical development, or validation role within an FDA-regulated environment.
- Familiarity with QC testing principles and practices for protein biopharmaceuticals.
- Hands-on expertise with at least two analytical techniques, such as HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, ELISA, or SDS-PAGE.
- Understanding of GxP standards and ICH/FDA/EMA regulations.
- Ability to identify and assist in resolving assay and equipment issues.
- Proficient in English with strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
- Physical capability to handle laboratory equipment, chemicals, and biological materials.
Contract Position:
This is a contract role with competitive compensation and benefits available after 60 days of employment.
