Key Responsibilities:

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide is responsible for delivering support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling clients to remain in their homes.

Specific Duties Include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Providing care for hair, teeth, and skin, including denture care and applying lotion. Safely transferring patients between bed, chair, and wheelchair. Reporting any observations regarding the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager. Complying with traffic regulations and ensuring safety during business travel. Assisting with essential household tasks related to clients' personal care.

Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of six months of experience in home care is preferred.

Successful completion of a competency evaluation is required.

License Requirements:

Current CPR certification is mandatory.

A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation are required.

Skills:

Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of identified patients.

Capability to function in various home environments, regardless of the patient's age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial status.

Must be able to work independently.

Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills are essential.
