Position Summary: The ideal candidate will be a proficient and adaptable content creator with experience in reporting and editing. This role involves working across multiple media formats and social media channels, significantly contributing to our diverse content portfolio.
Work Environment: Bobit operates with a remote workforce, allowing associates to work from home. We are considering candidates from specific states.
Compensation: The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.23 to $21.63, translating to an annual salary between $40,000 and $45,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit a variety of content related to fleet and ground transportation.
- Utilize content management systems and digital tools to create and distribute engaging content.
- Oversee special projects and ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility.
- Conduct video interviews and manage multimedia content uploads.
- Proofread and edit articles for clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external contributors for articles and columns.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and engage with key stakeholders.
- Travel may be required for industry events and media coverage.
- Adhere to company policies and best practices in all tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in media, particularly in digital and web content.
- A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with knowledge of AP style.
- Familiarity with SEO strategies for content optimization.
- Proficient in social media platforms and digital tools.
- Experience in web-based content and newsletters.
- Photography skills are a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong project management abilities.
- Willingness to follow content best practices as directed.
