Job Title: Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Toms River, NJ.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Physical Therapist to make a positive impact in the lives of patients and families. As a Physical Therapist in this Skilled Nursing Facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
