We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a supportive hospital environment. This role focuses on managing 100% inpatient services, with plans to expand from 13 to 20 beds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to hospitalized patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a Chair of Psychiatry and experienced Psych PA's.
- Conduct rounds on inpatients and respond to psychiatric consult requests from various medical/surgical wards.
Employment Model:
- This position is hospital-employed, offering a competitive annual salary.
- A relocation bonus is available for qualified candidates.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and funding are provided.
- Opportunities for academic involvement and teaching are available.
Facility Highlights:
- Join a 300-bed acute care medical center with a Level II designated ER.
- The facility includes psychiatric emergency services for both adults and children.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing exclusively on inpatient care.
- No on-call duties unless additional shifts are desired, compensated at an hourly rate.
