We are in search of a seasoned Senior Software Developer who can contribute to our innovative projects. This role will report directly to the executive leadership and is based in our Bethesda, Maryland office.

In recent years, we have been focused on creating a cutting-edge investment proposal and risk assessment platform known as "Guardrails". The main responsibility of the Senior Software Developer will be to enhance this application, which is currently undergoing Beta testing. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external developers to introduce new functionalities and prepare for a comprehensive launch.

Required Qualifications:

  • Residence in the D.C. Metro area with the ability to work on-site.
  • 3-5 years of experience in web application development.
  • Extensive knowledge of various programming languages.
  • Proficiency in our technology stack: React, Python (Django or Flask), and cloud services (AWS/GCP).
  • Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development.
  • A degree in software engineering or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the FinTech or Wealth Management sector is advantageous.

  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Create proprietary web applications utilizing a diverse range of technologies.
  • Develop integrations with software partners, adhering to modern API and security standards.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external developers.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance our web applications and technologies.
  • Address bugs and obstacles promptly.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure precise and efficient deployments.
