Job Title: Maintenance Engineer I
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that both guest-facing and operational areas of the hotel are maintained in accordance with brand standards.
- Quickly address and resolve reports of malfunctioning equipment.
- Keep a detailed log of issues and prioritize necessary repairs.
- Perform repairs in guest rooms and carry out general plumbing tasks as required.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Participate in training sessions or workshops to remain updated on best practices and techniques.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant maintenance experience within the hospitality sector.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Dedication to providing outstanding guest service.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, and twist as necessary.
- Willingness to work during holidays and weekends as needed.
Additional Information:
The hospitality industry operates around the clock, necessitating flexibility in work hours and responsibilities. Team members are expected to maintain a welcoming service environment at all times. Employment is at-will.
