Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Ride Attendant to join our team at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. As a Ride Attendant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests on our world-class thrill rides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure guest safety by enforcing rider restrictions, measuring height requirements, and securing loose items
  • Provide excellent customer service and entertainment to guests while they wait in line and ride the attractions
  • Work efficiently and cautiously to cycle through the line and maintain a clean and safe ride environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the shift
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy
Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions. Lighting is both natural and artificial. Equipment used includes radios, microphones, and cleaning tools. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs. Days and hours will vary and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
