Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at Central Florida Health Care. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to our patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and manage medications as needed
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychiatry
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of a psychiatry residency program
- Active Florida medical license and DEA registration
- Board certification in psychiatry
- 3-5 years of experience in psychiatry
Working Conditions:
This position requires 80% or more time spent standing/walking. The ability to lift weight equivalents to that would be required when occasionally assisting and positioning patients, repositioning equipment and lifting supplies.
