Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Imaging Services at the University of Miami. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identity and maintain accurate patient records
  • Perform CT scans and related procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures
  • Integrate diagnostic, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records to adapt exams as necessary
  • Adhere to CT protocols to maintain high-quality ultrasound standards
  • Assist with patient positioning and provide exam education
  • Report unusual findings to radiologists and supervisory personnel
  • Dispense oral contrast and load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
  • Provide assistance with orientation, training, and education of students and new technologists
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a relevant field
  • ARRT registration
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
