Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, including developing and implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success, including providing consultation and training on communication strategies and techniques.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, including developing and implementing group therapy programs.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Indiana license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience: Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
