We are seeking a skilled Catering Server to join our team at ocVIBE. As a Catering Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a part-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests in a friendly and hospitable manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations, and sell/upsell daily specials.
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of guest orders.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to guests.
- Present guests with checks and settle payments in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for completing all station set-up, breakdown, and cleaning duties.
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant happenings, including menu updates and operational guidelines.
- Support team members to ensure guests receive high-quality service.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- 1-2 years' experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 20lbs.
- Ability to travel up and down stairs consistently during work shifts.
