Aya Locums offers a dynamic opportunity for a locum family physician to join their team in Marysville, WA. This temporary assignment will provide a chance to gain experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting and work with a diverse patient population.

Salary: $115/hour - $130/hour

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. This includes conducting patient histories and physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine check-ups and preventive care services, including immunizations and cancer screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including infections, allergies, and respiratory issues.
  • Manage patient medications and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with specialists when needed to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency training program in family medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Board certification in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or AOA.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
  • At least one year of experience working in a primary care setting.
