As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in the evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other services prescribed by a physician.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Assist in developing and implementing new programs to enhance department services
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy
- MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
- Licensed by the State in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification
