Position Overview: The role involves utilizing advanced software tools to execute drafting assignments effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ Autodesk Civil 3D and Microstation for drafting activities, including the creation of alignments, profiles, surfaces, grading objects, cross sections, and pipe networks.
  • Utilize data from topographic surveys, existing drawings, and utility maps to develop comprehensive engineering base maps.
  • Generate construction drawings for various systems including water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage, and storm sewer systems, catering to land development and municipal projects.
  • Compile construction document plan sets by assembling plan, profile, site plans, notes, and detail sheets.
  • Evaluate sketches, notes, and other input materials to strategize and execute the most efficient approach for drawing development with minimal oversight.
  • Implement modifications to existing plans and prepare new details or design elements as required.
  • Keep Project Managers and CAD Managers informed about the progress of assigned projects and address any design issues promptly.
  • Assist in multiple projects as necessary, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to established company standards for drafting, including the use of layers, line types, and text styles.
  • Create and adjust maps as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
