Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Children's Minnesota. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Neonatologists to provide high-quality care to critically ill infants in our Level IV, III, II, and step-down care units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Neonatologists to coordinate patient care needs of high-risk newborn population
  • Manage critically ill infants' care using expertise and evaluative tools
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address medical management of infants
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide comprehensive care to patients

Requirements

  • Current MN RN License
  • Current MN APRN License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current NRP Certification
  • Completed advanced training program and certified by NCC as a neonatal nurse practitioner
  • 2 years level III NNP experience preferred
  • 500 Clinical Hours within last three years

Additional Requirements for Physician Assistant

  • MN Physician Assistant License
  • National Certification required by NCCPA
  • Current BLS certification
  • 2 years level III NICU experience strongly preferred
