Warehouse Associate

IBT Industrial Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read customer orders, work orders, and prepare parcels for mailing, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program and mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• Verify for correctness of item as well as quantity and pack all orders processed through the packing station.
• Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Responsible for answering shortage/overage/incorrect item customer reports in a timely manner.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed, including sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Maintaining organization of warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Assist all Warehouse Pullers with locating materials.
• Assist in updating dimensions and weights for all materials in the database.
• Always follow all safety rules and regulations by being able to carefully and safely drive the order picker and other warehouse equipment.

Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where working in a team or working independently is needed.
• Ability to learn through both written word and online training.
• Strong ability to use technology and software, including Epicor P-21, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite, to improve efficiency.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
