Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the GSS SD Canistota Ctr. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and support our nursing staff members. Your tasks will include:
- Bathing, toileting, and grooming residents
- Assisting with meal preparation and dining experiences
- Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs
You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention. We value teamwork and collaboration, so you will be working closely with our nursing staff and other caregivers to achieve our goals.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must have a minimum age of 16, a High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED), and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred. You must also be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds, as required by the position.
