Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Animas Surgical Hospital, LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for our patients.

This is an overnight position requiring 2x 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday nights.

• Obtain patient history and allergies, ensuring informed consent and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a safe environment within the radiology department, including the MRI Suite.
• Provide clear instructions to patients, explaining the exam process, breathing techniques, and post-exam procedures.
• Accurately enter patient information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and scan patients according to specified protocols.
• Produce high-quality imaging that meets optimal standards for radiologist interpretation, including recons and PACS notes.
• Assist with epidural pain management procedures and perform assigned responsibilities as a C-arm fluoro technologist in OR and procedure settings.
• Participate in call rotation and holiday coverage when needed.

• Graduation from an ARRT-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current CPR certification and registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T.) (CT).
• Minimum one year of experience as a technologist in a surgical or hospital setting, with a strong working knowledge of Radiography and CT.

$30.00-$42.00 per hour.

• Hepatitis B immunization requirement: Lab evidence of immunity or three doses Hep B vaccine at appropriate intervals.
• Influenza vaccination requirement: Documentation of current seasonal flu vaccine (mandatory from November 1st through March 31st each year).
• Measles, Mumps, and Rubella immunization requirement: Lab evidence of immunity or two doses MMR Vaccination.
• Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Tdap) immunization requirement: Documented proof of immunization.
• Tuberculosis screening requirement: Documentation of a two-step TB skin test within the past year or lab verification of a negative TB Gold or T-Spot tuberculin test within the past six months.

Vaccine records or evidence of immunity are required prior to the first day of scheduled work.
