Program Overview
The CHADS Family Support initiative is focused on delivering emotional assistance and essential resources to families as they navigate the complexities of the mental health care landscape. This program provides therapeutic counseling, support groups, and interventions following crises for challenges such as anxiety, depression, bullying, and self-harm. The primary demographic served includes young individuals aged 12 to 25.

Role Summary for Family Support Therapist
The Family Support Therapist is responsible for offering empathetic counseling and support to families and young adults. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting assessments, treatment planning, and resource development
  • Providing therapeutic counseling for youth experiencing crises
  • Facilitating support groups
  • Tracking and reporting data
  • Developing resources
  • Compensation is based on billable activities
  • Qualifications and Requirements
    • Preferred: Licensed therapist
    • Experience working with the 12-25 age group
    • Familiarity with tele-behavioral health platforms
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of crisis intervention and suicide prevention techniques
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation: $37-$44 per billable hour.
