Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled OB Surgical Technician to join our Labor and Delivery team at Mount Carmel Health System. As an OB Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, adhering to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician/Surgical Technologist program.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • BLS healthcare provider training required.
