Wraparound Facilitator

Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Wraparound Facilitator to join our team. As a Wraparound Facilitator, you will play a critical role in providing support to families and children with complex mental health challenges.

The Wraparound Facilitator will engage with families to develop a strength-based relationship, identify, and create a supportive Wraparound Team to address the needs of children/youth with complex mental health challenges and their families.

• Engage families to begin the process of high-fidelity Wraparound and educate them about the Wraparound process and components.
• Gather information for the development of the family story and assist families with developing their family vision to present at the first 30-day Wraparound Team Meeting.
• Complete the initial Crisis Management Plan with the family within 24 hours of admission to Wraparound.
• Engage families to identify natural/formal/informal supports for the family and child/youth and have them present at the initial WTM.
• Maintain team cohesiveness and provide an environment that is conducive for all team members to have supportive and positive communication between the team and families.
• Facilitate a Wraparound Team Meeting every 30 days at a minimum, more frequently in the initial stages of development if needed, and as often as needed to provide quality services.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Experience working directly with children and families and formal/informal systems.
• Ability to successfully complete the Mississippi Department of Mental Health Community Support Specialist trainings and certification exam for certification as a Certified Community Support Specialist (CCSS) within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend hours to meet job responsibilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Mississippi driver license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for organization business.
