Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the treatment plan.
  • Operate radiation equipment such as linear accelerators and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to deliver precise doses of radiation.
  • Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, including dosages, equipment settings, and patient reactions.
  • Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
