Downtown Los Angeles Security Officer

We are looking for an experienced Security Guard to join our team at Phoenix Prime Security.
This role involves providing security services to hotel guests and staff in Downtown Los Angeles. As a Security Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to emergencies, and conducting investigations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security and safety of clients, residents, and visitors.
- Monitor security systems and cameras, and respond to alarms or calls for assistance.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, residents, and visitors.
Requirements
- A valid BSIS Guard Card as required by the State of California.
- Ability to start immediately.
- A minimum of 1 year of security experience, preferably in residential or hospitality environments.
- Physical fitness for extensive patrolling and ability to handle potential confrontations.
- Knowledgeable in security equipment and technology.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a smartphone with knowledge of different apps.
- Must be physically sharp, well-groomed, and well-mannered.
- Excellent communication skills and be well-spoken.
Estimated Salary Range
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour after the probation period.
