Logistics Representative Job Description

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Representative to join our team in Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with logistics operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Fill, pack, wrap, protect, consolidate, and arrange orders according to instructions
  • Safely operate various warehouse equipment to assist with moving product
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
  • Ensure shop floor is supplied with required parts and material
  • Assist with cycle counts
  • Work with various departments to ensure availability of requested parts and materials
  • Distribute parts and materials as required
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, production standards, and Textron Business Conduct guidelines
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience related to job duties. Additional experience preferred
  • Basic competence in MS Office programs. Experience with ERP software may be a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic measurements and measuring equipment
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely
  • Attention to detail
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed
  • Ability to use computer and software related to job duties
