Healthcare Professional: Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physical therapist, ensuring safe and effective treatment outcomes.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation according to established procedures, facilitating seamless communication with healthcare teams.
- Support various activities that enhance the therapy department's outstanding outcomes, including contributing to professional development initiatives.
- Knowledge of physical therapy treatment techniques, principles, and modalities.
- Understanding of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aids, assistive and resistive devices, and training.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- An Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Previous experience in geriatric rehabilitation or adult neurological, cardiac, and general rehabilitation is preferred.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options.
