Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical services to patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders, including outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Perform videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • NYS License in Speech Pathology and ASHA CCC-SLP Certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care medical center, with expertise in dysphagia and communication services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in an acute care medical center, with a focus on NICU feeding evaluations and treatment.
  • Proficiency in providing feeding services for high-risk infants and pediatric aversion and behavioral feeding impairments.
