Hematologist Position at Montefiore Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematologist to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a Hematologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and teaching medical students and residents.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Hematology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to adults with bleeding and clotting disorders
- Conduct research in Hematology and publish findings in reputable journals
- Teach medical students and residents in Hematology
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board certification in Hematology or Board eligibility within three years of fellowship completion
- Unrestricted State of New York Medical License (current or eligible)
- Experience in Hematology, preferably in a academic institution
