Key Responsibilities- Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including answering call lights, ensuring privacy, and making residents comfortable.
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and bathing residents, as needed.
- Transport residents to and from meals, activities, and other destinations.
- Report any changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Protect resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
- Follow facility policies and procedures, including infection control and reporting occupational exposures.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of CNA training from an accredited school.
- Valid CNA certificate number.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter resident data.
This role may involve frequent interruptions, working with residents, family, and government agencies, and being subject to call-back during emergency conditions. You may be exposed to odors, dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, or air contaminants, and may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
