Nurse First is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a PCU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify needs and develop effective care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Document patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
