About the Role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This includes coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, and educating residents and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services
Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting
