Job Description:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for Fairfield Inn property in Virginia. This includes leading and motivating a high-performing sales team, building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders, and conducting regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Fairfield Inn property in Virginia.
- Sales Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to drive business.
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with hotel General Managers to ensure alignment between sales and operational goals.
- Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals with clients.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within Virginia and occasionally beyond for business purposes.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
