Position Overview:

The Electronic Security Systems Specialist is tasked with the comprehensive management of all current Electronic Security Systems (ESS) within the Security Department. This role encompasses the technical oversight of various security projects associated with the organization’s security framework. The position involves the maintenance and troubleshooting of systems such as intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, intercoms, and badging systems. The objective is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of these systems through effective design, installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Electronic Security Systems: Oversee daily operations of all ESS components, ensuring continuous availability and optimal performance.
  • System Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to uphold security and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain reliability.
  • Security Protocols: Develop and implement security measures to safeguard the organization’s ESS from unauthorized access.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners to address security system challenges.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations and generate reports on performance and incidents.
  • Compliance: Ensure ESS adherence to industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Project Support: Assist in planning and executing new security technology initiatives.
  • Training: Provide guidance to staff on the effective use and maintenance of electronic security systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
