Job Title: Multimodality Technologist

Job Summary:

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team. As a Multimodality Technologist, you will be responsible for applying roentgen rays safely to patients for diagnostic purposes upon the request of a physician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use correct technical parameters and position patients accurately to produce images as prescribed by a physician.
• Send images to PACS, including all appropriate scanned paperwork and comparison exams.
• Share in call status to provide "around the clock" coverage.
• Explain procedure to each patient prior to exam.
• Provide for patient privacy, comfort, and safety.
• Effectively communicate exam preparations and scheduling needs with the hospital staff.
• Provide immobilization devices as required.
• Administer drugs or chemical mixtures orally or as enemas to render organs opaque.
• Provide radiation protection as needed per exam.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her specific needs.
• Transport patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms assuming responsibility for their safety.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness during procedures.
• May prepare image CDs for patients.

Requirements:

• Completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Current WA State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) registration.
• Current CT Certification from the ARRT.
• Current BLS Certification.
