Infusion Services Registered Nurse

Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy, the Registered Nurse in the Infusion Center is entrusted with the assessment of patient and family health concerns and available resources. This role encompasses a leadership position in the formulation, execution, and assessment of the nursing care plan delivered by the nursing team.

The nurse will provide specialized nursing care and interventions tailored to specific patient demographics.

This role necessitates delivering services to patients in a manner that reflects an understanding of their functional and developmental age.


Qualifications:
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in English is required, with bilingual skills (English/Spanish; English/French) being advantageous. A minimum of one year of recent nursing experience is preferred. A valid Louisiana RN License is mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Education on hazardous substance handling is necessary upon hiring and must be renewed annually.
