Role Overview

The Staff Accountant is a member of the Finance team responsible for various financial analyses and activities associated with the month-end financial close and Payroll. The ideal candidate will be extremely reliable, detail-oriented, and customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform various financial tasks, including account reconciliation and journal entry creation.
  • Assist with financial reporting and summarization.
  • Maintain accounting controls and reconcile financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly bank and petty cash reconciliation; Monthly Expense report processing and reconciliation with the accounting system and AMEX credit card statements.
  • Assist with preparation for annual audits.
