We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in our Labor and Delivery unit.
Certification Requirements:- BLS certification is a must-have for this role.
- ACLS certification is required for several units within the hospital.
- EFM Intermediate certification is necessary for this position.
- NRP certification is required for certain units.
- PALS certification is not required for some positions.
- This is a 13-week contract position.
- As a Travel Nurse, you will float to the high-risk Antepartum/Postpartum unit to care for pregnant women who require hospitalization and postpartum women.
- You may also be assigned to monitor patients who are high-risk Antepartum patients in the ICU/ED/tele units who require continuous or intermittent fetal monitoring.
- Additional float units may be assigned based on your skill set and the hospital's needs.
- Circulating during C-Sections is a key responsibility for this role.
The patient ratio for this position is 1-2/3 in L&D, depending on acuity and phase of labor, and 3-6 in Women's Health Unit, depending on assignment and acuity.
Charting System:- EPIC and CPN are the charting systems used in this role.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required for this position.
- This position requires 4 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun).
