Welcome guests to our restaurant with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests promptly and seat them in a timely manner.
- Describe and answer questions about the menu, cocktail list, and hours of operation.
- Arrange for prompt seating of guests, quoting accurate waiting times and seating guests when tables are available.
- Identify casino comps, hotel, and VIP guests for seating and inform the manager of VIP guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of menus and familiarize yourself with the hotel/casino to provide accurate directions to guests.
- Prepare multiple reports and respond to telephone calls.
- Communicate with servers regarding guests' preferences or special needs.
- High school graduate preferred.
- Previous experience as a host or in a reservation system preferred.
- Literacy and fluency in English.
- Above-average communication and interactive skills.
- Legible handwriting.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.
