Job Summary:

Zachry Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in good working condition and meets safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, forklifts, generators, ball mills, ID fans, lube coil skids, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, compressors, etc.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and replacing worn parts.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools, including engine lathes, grinders, and files.
  • Fabricate and install parts, equipment, and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling, and/or welding.


Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong understanding of mechanical operations and be able to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications. A minimum of 4-5 years of industrial mechanical experience is required. Reliable transportation and the ability to work 7 days a week as needed are also essential.
