Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software for modeling and simulation to support United States Space Command.
  • Evaluate initial capabilities documents for United States Space Command.
  • Assist in validating operational plans and courses of action.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of exercises and wargames.
  • Work collaboratively with the USSPACECOM Joint Directorate team to assess and fulfill customer needs.
  • Create tools to improve analysis and development workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM discipline with relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in various aspects of space domain operations.
  • Previous participation in joint space warfighting initiatives.
  • Familiarity with modeling, simulation, and analytical tools.
  • Ability to devise innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A natural curiosity and willingness to engage with challenging tasks.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • US Citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Joint Environment or Combatant Command.
  • Completion of Space 100, 200, or 300 training courses.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of database languages, preferably MongoDB.
  • Experience with Systems Modeling Language and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering software.
  • Proficiency in tools for orbital analysis visualization.

Compensation: Salary range is $94,000 - $164,000, with final compensation determined by individual skills, experience, and certifications.
