We are seeking a skilled PVC Production Associate to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient production of high-quality PVC plastic pipe.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Quality
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, communicating any need for additional training if unsure about performing a task safely.
- Be aware of all equipment emergency stop buttons and observe all appropriate company safety regulations.
- Product Quality Control
- Utilize calibrated and certified measuring devices to monitor, adjust, and document pipe wall thickness, outside diameter, out of round, bevel depth, and overall length to ensure product conforms to all ASTM specifications.
- Packaging and Inspection
- Utilize manual plastic and steel banders to package pipe according to packaging guidelines for the diameter being produced.
- Inspect product for defects, including splits, bubbles, wax lines, bell pockets, bevels, and/or foreign materials to ensure conformance to VT quality specifications.
$20-$21 per hour - Overnight Shift
