Job Summary

The Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist plays a vital role in the imaging department of San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, performing prescribed CT scan procedures and exams on patients. This position requires independent judgment and initiative, with a focus on ensuring the ALARA principle is followed for all exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scan procedures and exams on patients, utilizing independent judgment and initiative.
  • Coordinate patient flow and the activities of the CT Scanner, ensuring efficient and effective imaging services.
  • Ensure the ALARA principle is followed for all exams, minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth and development, staying current with industry advancements and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A completion of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist in the State of California in good standing.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ARRT in Radiology, with CT ARRT preferred.
  • At least six months to one year of prior experience as a CT Technologist.

  • Estimated pay: $40.25 to $54.00 per hour, based on qualifications.
