Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at RHA Health Services. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a positive environment with a seasoned group of healthcare professionals, providing psychiatric services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges.

About the Role

The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric and medical assessment, treatment, clinical supervision, education, and training to RHA Behavioral Health Staff. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising medication, psychiatric, and medical treatment policies and procedures. As applicable, the Psychiatrist will serve as a key member of treatment and work in conjunction with other team members to ensure that psychiatric services are integrated into the clients' overall treatment.

Requirements
  • Completion of an MD Residency training program in Psychiatry.
  • Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry and licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina.
  • Valid driver's license, including personal vehicle insurance coverage.
  • CPR, first aid, NCI certification, and other certifications as specified and/or required by future company regulations.
